Is Student Body just another booking tool?
No. It's built to help you get discovered, understand demand, and build ongoing relationships with students — not just collect one-off bookings.
How will students find me if they don't know my name?
They don't need to. Student Body surfaces instructors and classes that fit a student's interests, routine, and availability. A save or a follow is a meaningful signal that someone's leaning toward you — before they ever book.
Do I keep my own students and pricing?
Yes — no lock-in. Your relationships and your pricing stay yours. Import from Acuity, BSport, or YOGO and keep using them; bookings sync back automatically.
Will you take a commission?
Everything is free during beta. When paid plans arrive, the model is built to leave the people who teach with far more of their booking income than the aggregators take — and we'll give clear notice well before anything changes.
What's the difference between a class and a session?
A class is the identity — reviews, trust, and demand signals accumulate on it across many sessions, rather than scattering across one-off instances. A session is when it actually happens. A class you run regularly builds compounding visibility in discovery.
What is the demand heatmap?
Saves, follows, and browsing behavior plotted across day-of-week and time-of-day — so you can see where interest is forming and run sessions into demand, not away from it.
How do I join?
Instructors can sign up directly during our Porto beta — create your profile and publish your first class. No invitation needed.
